Hello, very morning, good noon or wonderful evening to whatever the place of globe you are.
As a Doctor and public health professional I have encountered many cases of TB which might be TB, Mono resistance, Multi drug resistance TB and Extensive drug resistance cases in my personal and professional life.
I have seen many patient (Even one of my very close relative have lost life ) due to TB.Inspite of my personal counselling , repeated advice, close follow up we tried our best I couldn’t help my close one..!
So on this TB day I would like to give following suggestions and opinion to halt the transmission of disease in community and family.
1.Strictly follow the advice of your health care professional regarding regular intake of medicine and diet.
2.Secondly TB patient and his family needs very high moral and mental support. So kindly give them great psychological support.
3.They also need Nutritional and financial support. You can adopt any patient to provide “Nutritional support” for duration of therapy.Recently I have adopted one patient. You can do the same in your area by consulting your near by PHC, CHC or pharmacist in indian 🇮🇳 set up.
4.I have also come across some of my professional culling and many patients (Which are known TB champion) recovering from This dangerous and life threatening infection.
So what I mean to say that we can definitely fight against this infection and completely cure patient.
5.So this is my personal opinion and experience about treating and tackling TB patient.
I hope you will surely Spread awareness regarding world TB day and make World free to End TB.
