Discouraging zero….!

A_student_studying_in_Russia_says:

The highest score for most of the exams in Russia is 5.
If a student does not answer any question and returns back his exam paper blank, with no question answered, he gets 2 out of 5.

In my initial days at the University of Moscow, I did not know about this system and I was surprised and asked Dr. Theodor Medraev: “Is this fair that a student did not answer any question and you give him 2 out of 5? Why not give him a zero ?
Isn’t that the right way ?”

He answered:
“How can we give a Human Being a zero ?
How can we give him a zero to someone who was getting up at 7 am to attend all the lectures ?
How can we give him a zero since he got up in this cold weather, and used public transport and reached to do the exam in time, and tried to solve the questions ?
How can we give him a zero for the nights he used to study and spent his money on pens and notebooks and bought a computer for studying ?
How can we give him a zero when he left all other life styles and pursued his studies ?
Here my son, we do not give a zero to a student just because he did not know the answer.
We at least try to respect the fact that this is a Human Being, and he is having a brain, and he tried.
Because this result which we give, is not just for the questions in the exam paper, it is also about showing appreciation and respect to the fact that this is a Human Being and deserves to have a score.”

Truly I cried and did not know how to respond.
There I knew my value as a Human Being.
Zeros can actually decrease motivation on students, and can quickly destroy them and make them stop caring about their studies altogether.
Once a zero score has been put in the grade book, they need no longer care about that subject and they may assume that, there’s nothing they can do about it.

An excellent message to all the teachers, so as to change the system of education which we have in our country.

“Nothing is constant in this world, except change.Change is the rule of life and accept changes”

The philosophy and concept of Bhagwat Geeta is

-Eternal

-universal

-Timeless

-Everlasting

-Inspiring

They are applicable in all times and all places.

They are the greatest source of inspiration, motivation, self-help and Personel transformation to anyone on this planet.

There are different chapters on Bhagavad Geeta, which primary focus on life management, spiritual development, Yog ,pranayama, meditation and mind management

The philosophy is guide and wisdom to inspirational writers, speakers, behaviour modulators, management consultant and mentors.

The most important, transformational message of Bhagavad Geeta is following.

2.Just focus on karma ( i.e.Your actions) and not on fruits or results.

3.Give 100% energy to your goals.

4.Control your thoughts, emotions and live in the present by regular practice of pranayam, asan and meditation.

5.last but not least “Change is the rule of life and accept changes”

The short inspiring story between Raven and Eagle.

#zero to hero, #raven, #eagle, #inspiration, #motivation, # self-help

Warm welcome! Welcome to the world of inspiration, motivation, self-help, and personal transformation.

Nothing is so discouraging and disheartening when someone challenges your passion, creativity, and aptitude. I have started professional blogging before 3 years. During start-up, there are lots of challenges by critics and analysts.
You know that our life is full of challenges, turning and twist. Success in life is not an overnight process and it takes lots of investment of time and energy . It requires lots of patience, persistence, and consistency. It needs lots of dedication and determination towards your goals and dreams. Sometimes in life, you have to move ahead without giving head to little men, cynics, and critics. To achieve newer heights and novel dimensions of success you must have sharp focus, abilities, and proficiency like an eagle. With this background today I would like to share a short interesting story between Raven and Eagle that would be helpful to you in day-to-day life. Now Let’s start! Be with me till the end of this inspirational write-up!

“All birds find shelter during rain but eagle avoids rain by flying above the clouds. Problems are common, but attitude makes a difference.”

unknown

A Raven is a bird whose characteristics and features are just like a crow. The most interesting and impressive fact about it is that it is only a bird that has the courage and strength to peck on the neck of an eagle. It always and consistently tries to create a lot of hurdles and inconvenience in an eagle’s high altitude flying. Every time it makes frantic efforts and channelizes its energy in the wrong direction…!
Its sole aim is to create disturbances and turbulences in Eagle’s 🦅 wonderful flying.

But fortunately this story does not end here…! but actually it begins here and now let’s see the next part of this write-up.

Despite the repeated annoyance and difficulty created by Raven, Eagle just ignores all these and gives 100% focus, energy, and time on its flying. Every time It pushes and lifts itself to a higher level as high it can against the strong will and zeal of Raven. And during this phenomenon, a moment comes when because of lack of oxygen supply at higher altitude, raven can’t tolerate hypoxia, loses its life, and succumbed to death. There are many interesting teachings, preaching, and lessons from this short story.

  1. In this beautiful journey of life just give 100% focus on your goals and dream projects and move ahead and go forward. I mean to say that you should work for success with might and main.
  2. Always channelize your time, energy, aptitude, and potential in the right direction, right time, and right place.
  3. Think 100 times before the start-up of a new project and venture and don’t give head to little men, once you have decided to dedicate and devote your time to a new project then go ahead…!. So this is all about Raven and Eagle.

“To get through the hardest journey we need to take only one step at a time, but we must keep on stepping.”

-Zig Ziglar

I hope that this short write-up has inspired you to gain some clarity on the subject. Thank you friend for reading the post and sparing your precious time. I love to hear from you in the comment section of the blog. Thank you and have a Good day.
