Importance of Goal and Motivation in life – The secret key to success

#goals,#motivation,#success,

Have a meaning Goal in life and motivation follows you
Brian Adam
There are many qualities of successful people. One of the most impressive characteristics in their life journey is that they have clear cut understanding and thinking about their goal in life. Goals mean what you want in life or what is the ultimate aim of life. Why it is necessary to set goal, target, aim or vision in life…?
I would like to begin this article by short case study. As we know that during our childhood days when our parents are planning for circus visit, birthday celebration, zoo and fun-fair visit. As soon as these events are planned and date was fixed, we often feel excited, motivated, enthusiastic and happy. This was perfect example of Goal and motivation in our life.
Goal is nothing but the ultimate aim, desired result or outcome in life. The word motivation comes from English word motive, which mean something that make someone to act or behave in a particular way. It is chief and sole reason for out action and behavior.
It is said that life without Goal is just like missile without any target or an unguided missile without any personal guidance system, you may never know which course (pathway) does it take or where it will going to hit.
Take the example of Helen Adam Keller, she was deaf-blind person has lots of challenges from childhood. With her strong will power and enthusiasm she has made a remarkable contribution to mankind.
As it is rightly said,
“Man is a goal-seeking animal. His life only has meaning if he is reaching out and striving for his goals.”
(Aristotle)

We can set and design the Goal in our personal, professional, financial and social spheres.
Lots of research has been done to know which factors motivate in life to achieve the goal. These factors are

-Have a clear cut and well defined goal in life that motivates you to go ahead.
-When you discuss about your goal in life with your nearby and close friends, relatives and culling they will remind and motivates in direction of your destination and target.
-Another important crucial and transformational factor in achieving your goal in life is High positive self-esteem. Self-esteem in what you feel about yourself or its high positive self-oponoin and thinking about onself. Its is observed that successful person have very high positive self -esteem.
-Next to self-esteem the factor that motivates you in life is need for self-actulization.Its basically leveraging one’s abilities to reach to the their potential. Its inner motivation to realize one’s own highest potential and possibilities.
-Various studies have documented that peak performers in athlets, cricket and other sports have expertise in self-motivation through visualization and autosuggestions.(link)They do this constantly and repeatedly with focusing on their goal. It directly works on your subconscious mind and has demonstrated powerful results.
-In order to stay motivated one must visit, revisit the goal every day. Pursue your goal with energy, enthusiasm, purpose and passion and motivation will follow you.
-Practice deep breathing exercise (Pranayam), meditation, yoga, prayer and other spiritual rituals that will help to stay focus on your vision.
Goal should be designed and devised in such a style that it would be challenge and source of inspiration, motivation for you.Achievement of goal, target and vision in life or moving in that direction will give you personal sense of well-being, achievement, and happiness and raises your self-esteem in life. I would like to end this write up with famous saying
“Where the intention goes, Energy flows”.

Law of moderation – The ultimate guide to success

#inspiration#, #Self-help#,#motivation#,#moderation#,#success#,,#optimum#,#menta-health#,,#spiritual health#,#physical health#,#success#

Basically life of Gautam Buddha is real and great source of inspiration, motivation and self help to many materialistic and spiritual seekers. His concepts, teaching and sermons are applicable in all times. They are timeless principles, practices, truth, philosophy and lessons which are clear and full of clarity as before many centuries and decades as well as in today’s modern, technical and fast moving world.Among the various principles and teaching of “Lord Gautam Buddha”,one of the core lesson was law of moderation or (Madhyam- Marg). There is limit to everything in life, which includes everything, every activity and action from morning to evening. The food, sleep, exercise, meditation, reading, use of modern gadgets, even to spiritual practices like pranayama, asan, prayer and meditation. All Religious Scriptures,Modern Medical science, Management, Psychology, Behavior science, even our ancestors are saying that everything should be at moderation or optimum level.Any excessive or diminish usage of anything is harmful and dangerous.Among the favourite disciple of Gautam Buddha,Anand was one of the sincere, dedicated and devoted follower. One day he was very much confused, perplexed and unhappy with his spiritual journey or sadhana. He meet his great Guru Lord Gautam Buddha and raised and discussed certain questions and queries.                                                            Tathagat tried his best resolve his questions, doubts and queries.Lord Buddha answered and resolved many of his questions and queries but still he was not content and satisfied with some of answers and clarification. To clarify his doubts and confusion, saint advocated and assigned him small task.Anand was well versed and master in playing the musical instrument know as “Veena”.     There is great Chinese proverb:”If I hear ,I forget; If I see,I remember; If I do,I know”.It signify the importance of learning by doing. With reference to this example we will move ahead.Anand was highly accomplished musician.Gautam Buddha asked the anand to “slacken the strings” of instrument. Buddha then asked him to play the veena, anand replied, “how can I play veena when strings are slack?.Buddha said it’s ok,now “tighten the strings of instrument till they become taut enough to play” again saint instructed anand to play the veena, now it was having a snaping sound.Moral of the story is that as strings of veena to be tightened at an optimum level to have melodious and tuneful music, in same way everything in life should be at moderate and optimum level to live a happy and healthy life.Lazy mind, body and soul is like slack strings of veena and overstressed mind and body is like stretched stings of veena, which produces dull note or mind stretched beyond its capacity is tensed and incapable of clear thinking.Best is mind, body and soul completely relaxed and attentive. So core and important message of lord Gautam Buddha to Anand is key to happiness in life and sadhana is clear thinking and problem solving by relaxed mind, body and soul. Basically any spiritual philosophy and scientific techniques focused on or give immense stress on moderation in everything in life:food, sleep, yoga, Pranayam, meditation, exercise, walking, use of digital technology like facebook, what’s app, twitter etc.Dear friends,I think that above simple case study is not a mere a piece of information but will help and guide you in self transformation and inculcate the law of moderation( Madhyam marg),middle path in every spheres of your life. This is my opinion and thinking about “law of moderation”,tell me about your opinion and thinking…? Don’t forget to like, comment, share .Thanks for reading, sparing your precious time, bye for now and have a nice day 💐💐💐

Life management through management of present.

#present,#stressmanagement,#time, meditation

mage credit-outostress.com

There was great saying which states that “Time is best medicine for any wound”.For most of us either we live in past or future and never focus and concentrate on present. Most of the time we ignore our present moment. But as we know that past is the history, future is the mystery and present is present (GIFT),so we must channelize our energy in improving the present situations and circumstances. We must focus on present and enjoy the present.Always learn from experience of past.Make “Today” is turning point and transformational landmark of your life. What actions you will take today will surely going to affect and impact your future.A little bit of extra-hard work made today might change rest of your life. What you are today and whatever point you are there in your professional, personal and social
spheres is due to your past events and incidents. You cannot change your past but definitely you can change your present thoughts and actions. When we think of too much about past and future,we are denying and destroying ourselves the Joy of “NOW”,i.e Joy of present moment.Mind well and remember one thing you cannot change your past or your past cannot return and you cannot anticipate and manage all your future events and circumstances. So always be there in the present moment and enjoy the present.scientifically and spiritually one of the best way and method of being in the present state of mind is to practice deep breathing exercise, Pranayam and meditation on regular basis.

Seven transformational tips to build the high self respect (High self esteem) in life.

#selfesteem,#selfrespect

Seven effective ways of building high self-esteem in life

“Believe in yourself”

‘’Action seems to follow feeling, but really action and feeling go together; and by regulating the action, which is under the more direct control of the will, we can indirectly regulate the feeling, which is not’’.
William James, American philosopher and Psychologist (1842-1910)

Dear friends welcome to world of “science and inspiration”.My sole aim and goal of writing is to give information to my readers on positive psychology and optimistic thinking.Today I will going to discuss and highlight about most important dimension of life i.e. self-esteem or self-respect, How it develops? How does it influences in our life? I know you probably have a clear understanding and thinking about the term but let’s start from the basics anyway. The dictionary meaning of self-esteem is what you feel about yourself, confidence in your worth or abilities. It is a favorable thinking and opinion about oneself. In others words “self respect” is nothing but variety of positive and negative feeling, emotions and behavior about oneself. Too little self-esteem is many times responsible for failure, depression and hopelessness in life. High positive Self esteem is essential elements for achievement, motivation and inspiration in life.Success and failure in life many times depend on what you feel and think about yourself.

According to famous Psychologist Abraham Maslow’s self-esteem is basic human need for self-development and self-motivation.When we experience happiness and positivity in life, our energy and mood level goes high, productivity increases and our relationships with others improves.High self esteem means you have courage, confidence in your capabilities and you believe that you can achieve the goal. High positive high self-esteem is most crucial, indispensable key determinants for success, progress and development in life.
How to build high positive self-esteem in life?
1. One of the best ways of building high self-esteem is to do something for those who cannot repay you in cash or kind. Take for example,Volunteering a blood donation or medical camp, providing services in flood relief and other humanitarian task. I have personally volunteer many medical and blood donation camp and served in flood relief. Whenever we accomplish self-less social services, even if no one is observing or watching us, we rise a little bit in front of our own conscience.

2. Reading life history, biographies and autobiography of successful people. You will notice many ups and downs, struggles in their life journey. Many of them have turned and transform their adversities into opportunities.E.g.Abhram-Lincoln,Mahtam-Gandhi,swami-vivekananda,steve-jobes etc.
3. Have a meaning goal in life.Because achievement of goal brings happiness in life and that will boost your self-esteem. Accept challenges and take risk, because the

“Biggest risk in person’s life is person is not taking the risk”.

4. Associate yourself with people of good quality if you esteem your reputation, for it is better be alone than to be in bad company.
George Washington.

Also there is great saying “A man is known by company he keeps”.

5. Accept constructive criticism without taking it personally, with knowledge that they are essential for success and motivation.
“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent”.
Eleanor Roosevelt
6. Keep yourself busy with constructive, creative and innovative task and hobbies.
7. Respect and value other people and accept them as they are.

Now it’s high time to stop this brainstorming exercise on self-esteem, but before that I would like to highlight and quote an inspirational and motivational case study. Karl Menninger was one of the famous and well known Psychiatrist of United states of America; he was also the founder of Menninger foundation. Once upon a time he was addressing the Question/Answer session of big audience.

One of audience member asked him “if someone is having nervous breakdown and fellow will consult you, then what advice do you give him? As Dr karl Menninger was renowned psychiatrist, people in the audience thought that doctor would go for advice of medicines, hospitalization or shock therapy. But surprisingly Dr Menninger  views was somewhat different, somewhat humanitarian, he advised the fellow to go on other sides of planet, help the anyone who is in dire need. In this way fellow would forget his pain and come of nervous breakdown.
Dear friends, this is my opinion, understanding and thinking about self esteem. I hope you have gained some clarity on the subject and you will try this suggestions and recommendations to build your self-esteem. My friend by for now, see you in next blog, Thanks for reading the blog and sparing your precious time.
